Privacy policy

Student Accommodation Bristol is an independent comparison guide. This page explains the information collected through the website and how it is used.

Email updates

If you choose to sign up for email alerts, we will use your email address and any preferences you select to send the updates you requested, such as price drops, new availability, rebooking information or parent and guarantor updates.

Email subscriber information is handled using Resend, our email delivery and subscriber-management provider. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website, such as which pages are visited and which links are useful. This helps us improve the service and measure whether the site is actually helping people compare Bristol student accommodation.

Referral links

Some links to accommodation providers include referral or campaign parameters so we can measure that a visitor clicked from this site to a provider. If commercial referral arrangements are introduced, they will be disclosed clearly.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not require an account to browse the site. Property and pricing information is gathered from public sources rather than private student data.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time. You may also ask for information held about you to be corrected or deleted where applicable.

Contact

Contact details for privacy enquiries will be added when the site's dedicated email address is activated.
