Budget guide
Cheap student accommodation in Bristol
The lowest weekly headline price is not necessarily the cheapest tenancy. The useful number is what you will actually pay from move-in to move-out.
Compare the whole cost
Multiply the weekly rate by the contract length, then account for bills, transport, deposits and any genuine cashback. A slightly higher weekly price with a shorter contract or included utilities can sometimes cost less overall.
Ways to reduce the cost
- Compare shared bathrooms as well as ensuites.
- Look beyond the most expensive central locations.
- Check whether a longer commute creates meaningful transport costs.
- Compare contract lengths carefully.
- Treat cashback as a discount only after checking the eligibility terms.
- Do not pay for facilities you know you will never use.
